Mirziyoyev offers condolences to Aliyev over the plane crash in Kazakhstan

On December 26, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed his condolences to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during a phone call, following a tragic plane crash near Aktau. The press service of the Uzbek President reported the details of the conversation.
"Mirziyoyev conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to Aliyev, mourning the numerous victims of the Azerbaijan Airlines passenger plane crash. He extended words of support to the families of the deceased and wished a swift recovery for the injured," the report stated.
In response, President Ilham Aliyev expressed gratitude for the solidarity and compassion shown by his Uzbek counterpart.
It is worth noting that on December 25, Mirziyoyev also sent official condolences to both Ilham Aliyev and Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the tragedy, which claimed numerous lives.
