Mirziyoyev Met With 5 War Veterans

Today, the 8th of May, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited one of the sanatoriums in Tashkent and spent time talking with some war veterans.  This was reported by the Presidential Press Service.

During his visit, the President talked with father Jalilov, father Ashir Osarov, Antonina Kolomenseva, father Tolagan Imomov, and father Abbas Appanov.

"I came to see you and congratulate you on the holiday.  First of all, this is your holiday.  Thanks to your courage and tenacity in war times, the following generations have been able to live peacefully and freely.  "If we were to describe your life journey, filled with hard work and triumphs, as a true exemplar, a school of patriotism for today's youth, we would be speaking the absolute truth," declares the head of state, acknowledging the nation's immense pride in you.

Recent reports indicate that war veterans are surrounded by an atomosphere of respect and affection, enjoying good health and contentment in their lives.  They openly shared the positive transformers occurring in their communities, as well as the progress witnessed in the lives of their children and grandchildren.

In our country, we have recently introduced an updated Constitution, marking significant milestones in the advancement of our nation and the well-being of our people.  President Mirziyoyev affirms that during this transformative period, having individuals like you, with extensive experience, by our side and providing invaluable guidance, fuels us with boundless energy. 

Expressing gratitude and appreciation, the Nuranis thanked the President for his attention and care, offering prayers and blessings to be bestowed upon him. 

Receiving your blessings and joining you in prayer for the peace of our people is an immense honor.  The prayers of esteemed individuals such as yourself, who have weathered numerous trials in life and have acquired nearly a century's worth of wisdom, will undoubtedly be answered.  Henceforth, we will devote significant efforts to creating optimal conditions for our students.  It is a sacred duty and responsibility, emphasized Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
