President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev is expected to visit Kyrgyzstan on 26 January of this year. This was reported by “AkiPress” publication with reference to the Kyrgyz Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

It is noted that in connection with the visit of President Mirziyoyev, the Kyrgyz Chamber of Commerce and Industry plans to hold a meeting of the business councils of the two countries.

It should be recalled that on 9 December 2022, the visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the summit of the leaders of the Eurasian Economic Union in Kyrgyzstan was cancelled. Russian President Vladimir Putin also participated in this summit. Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov went to Bishkek instead of Mirziyoyev.
