Mirziyoyev personally congratulated the 2-time Paralympic champion (video)

Today, on September 3, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with athlete Bobur Omonov, who won the gold medal in the shot put on the latest day of the Paralympic Games in Paris, as reported by the President's press service.

Mirziyoyev warmly congratulated Bobur Omonov on earning the prestigious title of two-time Paralympic champion and breaking the Paralympic record he had set in 2021. The President noted that this achievement is a significant milestone in the history of Uzbekistan's Paralympic movement. He also expressed gratitude to Omonov's coaches and relatives, acknowledging their role in helping him demonstrate his exceptional skills in the upcoming games.

The champion shared his joy in fulfilling the trust the people of Uzbekistan placed in him.
