Mirziyoyev congratulates the President and Prime Minister of India

The president of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the president of the Republic of India Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the 75th anniversary of the independence of that country.
During the congratulations, it was noted that the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and India in recent years has been steadily expanding in all priority areas, and expressed confidence that, through joint efforts, our cooperation will continue to develop in the interests of our friendly peoples.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev wished peace, success, and prosperity to the people of India.
India became independent from the United Kingdom on 15 August 1947. This year marks the 75th anniversary of independence.
