Abdurakhim Umarov appointed as new mayor of Mirzaabad

On February 27, an extraordinary session of the District Council of People's Deputies was held in the Mirzaabad district of Syrdarya region, where a new mayor was appointed. The regional mayor's press service reported the decision.
Acting regional mayor Erkinjon Turdimov attended the session, during which Abdurakhim Abdulhamidovich Umarov was officially appointed as the new mayor of Mirzaabad district. His predecessor, Orif Khudoiberdievich Rahmonkulov, was dismissed from his position due to a transfer to another job.
Before this appointment, Abdurakhim Umarov served as the first deputy mayor of the region for financial and economic issues and poverty reduction, heading the Main Department of Economy and Finance.
It should be noted that earlier, new mayors were also appointed for Muborak, Jomboy, and Pakhtachi districts.
