Ahror Mansurov has been appointed as the new mayor of the Mingbulok district in the Namangan Region, as announced by the press service of the regional government.

Today, August 7, an extraordinary session of the Council of People's Deputies of Mingbulok district was convened to address an organizational matter. During the session, Namangan Region Governor Shavkatjon Abdurazzokov addressed the issue on the agenda.

The deputies unanimously endorsed the decision of the Namangan Region Governor to dismiss Nurshod Khudoyberdiev from his position as mayor of the Mingbulok district and to appoint Ahror Ahmadalievich Mansurov as his successor.

It should be noted that Nurshad Khudoiberdiev was appointed as the acting mayor of Mingbulok district by the regional governor's decision No. 203, dated March 20, 2019. In January 2020, an audio recording purportedly belonging to the mayor was circulated on social networks, in which the mayor was heard making derogatory remarks about his employees. Consequently, measures were taken against Khudoyberdiev, who was fined 4 million 460 thousand soums for his inappropriate conduct.

On July 17 of this year, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev chaired a video selector meeting to review the work completed in the first half of the year and outline future tasks. During this meeting, Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov's proposal to dismiss the mayor of the Mingbulok district was endorsed.

It is also noteworthy that recent appointments have been made for the mayors of Gozgon City, Furkat, Tashkent, and Takhyatosh districts.
