Photos of gold coins depicting the president of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev were distributed on social networks. The central bank issued an official statement on the situation.

«The central bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan issues coins of precious metals dedicated to jubilee dates, important events of historical and modern times, and information about them is placed on the official website of the central bank», – said a statement.

It is noted that up to now the central bank has not issued coins or banknotes made from precious metals dedicated to the personality of the president.
