Head of Mass Media Fund moves to Presidential Administration

By an order of the Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, Akramjon Murodjon ugli Fazilov has been appointed First Deputy Head of the Communications Department of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press secretary of the President of Uzbekistan.
For reference, Akramjon Fazilov previously served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Public Fund for the Support and Development of National Mass Media. He graduated from the Faculty of International Relations at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy and also studied at universities in Vienna (Austria) and Ghent (Belgium). From 2021 to 2022, he served as Acting Head of the Tashkent Project Office of the Europe–Uzbekistan Economic Cooperation Association (EUROUZ), and until 2024, he worked as Director of the Public Fund for the Support and Development of National Mass Media.
It is worth noting that earlier Rustam Mirzayev was dismissed from his position as Deputy Head of the Communications Department of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan and was appointed Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs responsible for compliance and internal anti-corruption control.
