In the Fergana region, a citizen injured another person following an old enmity. This was reported yesterday, May 22, by the information service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Fergana region.
It was reported that on May 21 of this year, S.T., a citizen born in 2006 and living in the city of Margilan, assaulted A.A., born in 2000, with a sharp object on the right back and face, causing life-threatening injuries. A.A., in an attempt to flee the scene, thwarted S.T.'s criminal intentions. The perpetrator escaped in an unknown direction.
A.A.'s life was saved due to timely medical procedures performed by doctors.
"Currently, the city prosecutor's office has initiated a criminal case under Article 25 (Preparation of crime and attempt to commit a crime), Part 1 of Article 97 (Deliberate murder) of the Criminal Code, and the suspect S.T. has been arrested under Article 221 of the Code of Criminal Procedure," the report said.
It is worth reminding that earlier, a man living in the Shavat district of Khorezm region beat his wife to death with an ax, accusing her of practicing magic. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
