Pedophile who escaped from correctional facility rapes 3rd grade girl

A 31-year-old convict serving his sentence in a correctional facility located in the Ahangaran district of Tashkent region escaped and raped a 3rd grade girl.

According to reports circulating on social media, M.T., born in 1994 in Fergana region, was found guilty of committing a crime under Article 118 of the Criminal Code (Indecent assault) by a court verdict in 2018 and sentenced to 16 years in prison. The sentence is to be served in a general regime colony. He was transferred to a correctional facility in 2024 by a ruling of the Nishan district court for criminal cases.

According to the press secretary of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Tashkent region, Bobur Tulaganov, the person escaped on October 16 of this year and committed indecent acts on a minor girl in the Ahangaran district on the same day. Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against him under Part 4 of Article 119 of the Criminal Code (Unnatural satisfaction of sexual needs by force).

“The person was detained by law enforcement agencies on the same day in a procedural manner and a “detention” preventive measure was applied to him. Investigative actions are underway,” the press secretary said.

It is worth noting that on October 14 of this year, a 7-year-old girl was raped by a 38-year-old relative in the Yangikurgan district of Namangan region.
