Those who permit inbreeding will face punishment

In cases of conflict of interest, administrative responsibility is enforced. Deputy Minister of Justice Alisher Karimov announced this at a press conference on June 7.

A new provision, Article 193-4, has been added to the Code of Administrative Responsibility under the Law "On Conflict of Interests." This article stipulates the enforcement of administrative measures in cases of conflict of interest.

"Initially, an administrative fine of up to five times the basic calculation amount (up to 1,700,000 soums) will be imposed if the individual fails to report such instances. If the violation recurs, the fine will be doubled," stated Alisher Karimov.

He added that if these cases are reported or identified by the anti-corruption personnel departments of the relevant organizations, and the official fails to take appropriate action, administrative liability will be enforced. This includes a fine ranging from five to ten times the base calculation amount.

Additionally, there are strict regulations against concealing or providing false information when disclosing conflicts of interest. Furthermore, to prevent conflicts of interest, there is a ban on working based on representation in organizations that are subordinate to or controlled by each other.
