It is reported that 122 billion soums have been allocated for musical instruments and sports equipment for schools this year. This was disclosed by UzA.

Today, on September 27, in the Committee on Science, Education, Culture, and Sports of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, the issue of "Utilization of funds allocated from the Republic's budget and the achievement of development program targets in the third quarter of 2023" was discussed, and the Ministry of School Education provided information.

It is noted that starting from 2023, a total of 121.9 billion soums has been allocated for providing 10,130 secondary schools with 7 sets of national musical instruments and 6 sets of primary sports equipment. A contract worth 108.9 billion soums was signed, and a total of 85.7 billion soums were spent on these purchases over 8 months.

Additionally, 100 billion soums were earmarked for the purchase of 557 sets of computer equipment to promote information technology in general secondary educational institutions, of which computer sets worth 98.5 billion soums were purchased.
