We propose a sharp increase in IT study hours in schools - a representative of the People's Democratic Party

Today information technology (IT) has become an integral part of society, influencing both production and education. Zulayho Akramova, Deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and a member of the People's Democratic Party (UzPDP), emphasized the importance of paying serious attention to IT education to meet modern demands.

Akramova outlined the benefits of enhancing IT studies in schools:

-Relevance to the digital economy: Knowledge in areas such as programming, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence is crucial for success across professions.
-Development of critical thinking: IT studies help students develop problem-solving skills and critical thinking, aiding in their overall growth and professional development.

The UzPDP proposes a significant increase in IT study hours in schools, presenting various educational tools to achieve this:

- Virtual labs: These allow students to work with devices and software not available physically, offering real-time simulations that enhance learning.
- Online platforms and e-learning: Students can access courses from leading universities worldwide, encouraging independent learning.
- Online IDEs (e.g., Replit, CodePen): These platforms allow students to write and test code instantly on any device.
- Collaborative tools: Platforms like Google Docs and GitHub promote teamwork, preparing students for real-world group work.
- AI assistants and chatbots: These tools can answer students' questions and guide them through learning materials, increasing engagement.
- Social media and blogs: These platforms are useful for fostering discussions on IT topics, enriching students’ knowledge.

Akramova stressed that the future potential of the younger generation relies heavily on how much focus is placed on IT education today. Integrating IT into the educational process will lay the foundation for the future success of youth and contribute to the innovative development of the country.
