Did Lola Murodova pass away? The Regional health department comments

Reports have spread across social networks that the Hero of Uzbekistan Lola Murodova, the head of the farm complex «Nurli obod» of the Altyaryk District has died.

The press service under the Health Department of the Fergana region commented on the situation and called the reports baseless.

"Lola Muradova is currently in a serious, but stable condition in the regional scientific center of emergency medical care and is being treated by experienced doctors of the republic.

We ask social media activists not to spread false reports and wish Allah to heal Lola Murodova”, - the statement of the regional health department says.

It should be recalled that Lola Murodova, Hero of Uzbekistan, head of the farm complex “Nurli obod “in Altyaryk district, has been seriously ill.  The president of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev wished her a speedy recovery.

For reference, Lola Murodova was awarded the title of «Hero of Uzbekistan» in 2019.  Later she was elected senator.  Speaking at an assembly of the UzLiDeP (Uzbekistan Liberal Democratic Party) Political Council on 18 January, Lola Muradova stated that if the president entrusts women with the post of the governor (khokim), they will perform it successfully.
