Khojayev is expected to go to Afghanistan

The delegation headed by the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khojayev is expected to go to Afghanistan in the next few days.  Ambassador of Uzbekistan in Kabul, Yodgorkhoja Shodmonov, spoke about this in an interview with Afghanistan National Television.

The ambassador said that after visiting Afghanistan, the delegation of Uzbekistan is expected to participate in a business forum in Kabul with the participation of businessmen and entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan and Afghanistan.

Also, Yodgorkhoja Shodmonov noted that last year the trade turnover between the two countries exceeded 650 million dollars, and in the first half of 2023 this figure will reach 400 million dollars, and it is expected to reach 758 million dollars by the end of the year.  .

In addition, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan stated that an agreement has been reached on the restoration of Alisher Navoi’s mausoleum in Herat, the mausoleum of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur in Kabul, and the tombs of Boborahim Mashrab in Tahor.
