Two factions intending to engage in a large-scale fight were apprehended in Khorezm

On March 31st, the Rapid Search Service of Khorezm's Internal Affairs Department received intelligence regarding approximately 30 individuals planning to engage in a collective brawl within the "Bogdorchi" neighborhood of the Urganch district. This information was relayed by the regional DIA's Information Service.

Upon receiving this information, the Regional Internal Affairs and Internal Affairs Department promptly dispatched operatives to the scene, where preventive measures were successfully enacted, averting the planned confrontation between the groups.

It was determined that two individuals from these groups attempted to address their mutual conflict by involving their acquaintances, resulting in group confrontations.

Subsequently, a criminal case was launched under Article 277, Part 3 (Hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan. Nine individuals were detained as a precautionary measure, while six others involved in the incident faced administrative penalties under Articles 183 (Minor bullying) and 194 (Failure to comply with the legal requirements of a law enforcement officer), leading to 15 days of administrative detention.
