Officials in Khorezm who neglected the care of seedlings were subjected to fines, as reported by the Ministry of Ecology.
The Department of Ecology in the Khorezm region has been actively monitoring the upkeep of tree and shrub seedlings planted during the spring under the nationwide "Green Space" project.
Authorities identified 27 instances where seedlings were not properly maintained or watered. Pursuant to Article 79, Part 3 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility, which addresses illegal activities related to trees, bushes, plants, and seedlings—including cutting, logging, damage, destruction, or unauthorized transplantation—a total fine of 91.8 million soums was imposed through administrative penalties.
