A 22-year-old groom from the Balikchi district in the Andijan region has been fined 27.2 million sums for organizing a disruptive wedding procession. The Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement under the Prosecutor General's Office confirmed the penalty.

The incident occurred when the groom's wedding convoy moved in a group through the center of Balikchi district. Among the vehicles was an operator’s car with its body partially removed to capture footage of the event. The convoy was stopped by the regional Internal Affairs Directorate, which initiated legal action. However, the groom and his friends resisted the intervention, leading to a physical altercation in which an officer sustained bodily injuries.

The Balikchi District Court for criminal cases reviewed the matter and imposed a fine of 27.2 million sums on the offenders. Enforcement actions by the Balikchi District Department of the Compulsory Enforcement Bureau ensured the fine was collected from the groom.

Authorities have highlighted the importance of adhering to regulations during such events. This incident serves as a reminder of the legal consequences of violating public order and traffic laws.

In a related case in the Hazorasp district of the Khorezm region, drivers in a car convoy near a school were penalized for bypassing traffic rules. Administrative reports were filed under Part 2 of Article 128-5 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility, which pertains to obstruction, dangerous driving, or exiting onto sections of the road intended for oncoming traffic. The vehicles involved were impounded for temporary detention.
