School principal fired in Khorezm following student mistreatment

The director of School No. 14 in the Koshkupir district of the Khorezm region, who was previously reported to have physically assaulted female students by pulling their hair and dragging them, has been dismissed from his position. This was announced by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education.

According to the ministry, the case was reviewed by the Ethics Commission of the Khorezm Regional Department of Preschool and School Education. Following the commission’s assessment, the director’s employment contract was officially terminated by an order from the head of the department.

It should be recalled that a similar incident occurred earlier at Secondary School No. 38 in the Altynkul district of the Andijan region, where a school director was reported to have beaten a student. Authorities later stated that the incident was related to the student’s use of pyrotechnics in the classroom.
