Nearly 10 billion soums worth of natural gas illegally used in Khorezm

Illegal use of natural gas worth 9.8 billion soums has been uncovered in a multi-storey residential building in the Khazarasp district of the Khorezm region, according to Hududgazta’minot.
The inspection revealed that a multi-storey building belonging to H.Q. LLC in the Pahlavon Mahmud neighborhood had been using natural gas without signing a contract with the supplier and by falsifying project and technical documentation.
A report has been drawn up, and the damage has been recalculated at 9.987 billion soums. All documents have been submitted to law enforcement agencies.
Earlier, authorities reported that illegal use of energy resources worth 79 billion soums had been detected across Uzbekistan over the past month.
