Disciplinary action considered for Khorezm DIA officer caught in scandal

Reports surfaced on social networks that a preventive inspector in the Shavot district of the Khorezm region was caught in the house of a stranger. QALAMPIR.UZ contacted the press secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Shohrukh Giyasov, to clarify the situation.

It was reported that the woman’s husband was abroad in Russia. The officer, a senior lieutenant, was an inspector in the Idaliqala neighborhood of the district. He allegedly visited the woman’s apartment several times. On the night of January 31 this year, the inspector was caught by the woman’s husband’s close relatives while at her house.

District DIA officers were called to the scene. Upon arrival, they took the preventive inspector and witnesses to the DIA building to clarify the situation.

Currently, the issue of dismissing the employee from the ranks of the internal affairs bodies for actions that undermine the honor of an internal affairs officer is being considered.
