Singer Dilfuza Ismailova defrauded of $80,000

Earlier, it was reported that the famous artist Dilfuza Ismailova, having trusted a woman she met during a "talk" event, was defrauded of $80,000. This case is currently being considered by the Uchtepa District Court for Criminal Cases. Yesterday, on April 29, the court issued a verdict in the case. QALAMPIR.UZ has obtained a copy of the court decision.
According to the court’s ruling, the defendant, M.J., who had previously been convicted of fraud and professional fraud, was once again found guilty under Article 168 (fraud), Part 4, Clause "a," and Article 228 (preparation of documents, stamps, seals, forms, their forgery, sale, or use) of the Criminal Code.
M.J. was sentenced to 6 years and 4 months in prison, with the sentences from the above articles being partially combined. The defendant will serve the sentence in a general regime colony.
Additionally, the court ordered M.J. to reimburse the victim, Dilfuza Ismailova, for the $80,000 defrauded from her, amounting to 1 billion 35 million 848 thousand sums at the current exchange rate.
The verdict also mandated M.J. to reimburse other victims for the following amounts: 250 million sums for Sh.Zh., 300 million sums for X.A., and 252 million sums for G.K. The victims were informed of their right to seek further compensation for material and moral damages through civil court.
