Teachers gifted with homes by the president in “World echoes”

Art & Culture

The third traditional “World Echoes” international national pop festival has begun in Xonobod city, nestled in the embrace of majestic mountains, with each breath healing, filling hearts with warmth.

The event is considered an important step toward making the city not only Andijan’s but also the Ferghana valley’s tourism center. This annual festival has once again become a true celebration of art, culture, and friendship.

The festival has kicked off with a good deed, that is, an educational caravan loaded with school supplies, computers, and laptops for children starting the new academic year has been launched within the framework of a “Teachers' forum”.

Furthermore, two teachers who have been working in schools in the remote areas of the Andijan region, whose students are scoring higher results, have been granted keys to two-room apartments.

At the opening ceremony of the festival, Andijan region’s governor, Shukhrat Abdurakhmonov, emphasized that the “World echoes” festival is a grand celebration and a source of pride for the people of Andijan, who live in peace and tranquility in today’s turbulent world.

“While we are bringing famous singers to the concert, somewhere else in Palestine, young children are dying of hunger”, the governor said.

The festival’s first day began at 7:00 p.m. with a performance by the famous band of the 1980s, Arabesque. When Italian pop star In-Grid was invited to the stage, the audience’s excitement grew even higher. The artist stepped down from the stage and interacted directly with her fans.

Next, the legend of Indian retro music, Alisha Chinai, took the stage. She performed hits such as “Made in India” and “Jimmy Jimmy,” singing them several times together with the audience.

The climax of the festival was the appearance of Munisa Rizayeva, the beloved star of Uzbek pop. Responding to the audience’s requests, she performed nearly ten songs, singing along with her fans. The magic reached its peak when she sang her hit “Yomg‘ir” (“Rain”), and astonishingly, it began to rain in Xonobod.

The event lasted four hours and concluded with a fireworks display.

It is stated that this is not an ordinary festival; it is a celebration of the arts, friendship, and culture.

This festival belongs not only to the people of Andijan, but also to the entire nation, even to the foreign guests.

The “World echoes” festival, which will continue for two more days, awaits you with unforgettable moments! Stay tuned to QALAMPIR.UZ for full coverage.
