The People's Republic of China will help by giving 37.5 million dollars towards the implementation of social projects. This was stated yesterday, 24 May, in an agreement signed on the technical and economic cooperation between the government of Uzbekistan and the government of The People's Republic of China in the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade.
According to the agreement, the government of the People’s Republic of China will allocate impartial help to the Republic of Uzbekistan in the value of $ 37.5 million for the joint implementation of socially significant projects.
The contract was signed by Aziz Voitov, the First Deputy Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, and Jiang Yan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Uzbekistan.
