Effective July 1, ticket prices for the "Nasaf," "Sharq," and "Uzbekistan" trains will rise by 25%. This change was announced by the press service of "Uzbekistan Railways" JSC.
"The price hike is due to the introduction of additional services on passenger trains, ongoing development efforts, upgrades and modernization of passenger car fleets, the purchase of new electric trains, and the adaptation of stations to meet modern standards," the report says.
For example, the route number 12, 4 "Tashkent - Karshi" previously cost 150,600 soums for the economy tariff and 218,244 soums for the business tariff. The new prices will be 178,250 soums for the economy tariff and 262,805 soums for the business tariff.
It should be noted that ticket prices for the "Afrosiyob" electric trains have also increased recently.
