“KazTransOyl” delivers 31,100 tons of oil from Russia to Uzbekistan

In the third quarter of 2023. The Kazakh company, "KazTransOyl," transported 31,100 tons of Russian oil to Uzbekistan on the "Omsk - Pavlodar - Shymkent - Shagir" route. This information was reported by the "Kapital.kz" publication.


According to the report, in the first quarter, the company transited 10,700 tons of Russian oil through the primary oil pipeline system to Uzbekistan, and in the second quarter, it transported 37,900 tons of Russian oil.


In October, the transit volume of Russian oil to Uzbekistan through the territory of Kazakhstan will be 25,000 tons. The company explained that the transportation of Russian oil to Uzbekistan through the territory of Kazakhstan is carried out in accordance with the oil delivery schedule approved by the Ministry of Energy.


Since 2017, "KazTransOyl" has been transporting Russian oil to Uzbekistan through the primary oil pipelines. In 2017, the transit volume was 67,900 tons, and in 2018, it was 36,000 tons. However, in the years 2019-2022, this process was halted.
