The amount of subsidy for households has been increased

The amount of subsidy allocated to Kasanachi will be increased to 4.5 million soms.  This was determined by the decree of the President of Uzbekistan "On additional measures to increase the employment of women and strengthen their health" adopted on 21 September of this year.

According to the decision, from 1 October 2022:

• the amount of subsidy allocated to the household will be increased from 10 times to 15 times of the BCA (BASE CALCULATION AMOUNT) (from 3 million soms to 4.5 million soms);

• a selection of projects worth 50 million soms each is held once a year among entrepreneurs who provide employment to at least 20 needy women in remote areas;

• 50 percent of the rent will be collected when renting state-owned buildings and structures by entrepreneurs who have hired at least 5 unemployed women from the "Women's Register" on a household basis;

• Entrepreneurs who have established households in which at least 70 percent of the total number of employees are women included in the "Women's Register" and who have maintained their employment during the period of the privilege will be exempt from paying rent for state-owned buildings and structures until 1 October 2027.

"Counseling hours" will be introduced in each district (city) at women's entrepreneurship centers, involving leading homemakers.

The "Most Exemplary Entrepreneur" contest will be held among entrepreneurs who have created new jobs through homesteading in the regions.
