School principal who played cards and his deputy were dismissed

It was previously reported that a school principal in the Samarkand region was caught playing cards, while the vice principal was seen physically disciplining a student. The director and deputy responsible for these actions have now been dismissed. This information was confirmed by the Information Service of the Department of Preschool and School Education of the Samarkand region.

One of the videos circulating on social media shows the female vice principal beating a female student, while another video captures the school principal playing cards with several friends.

Officials from the Department of Preschool and School Education of the Pakhtachi District conducted an investigation at the 8th general education school in Pakhtachi district and consequently relieved both the school director and his deputy of their duties.

It is also worth noting that there have been previous reports of schoolchildren being subjected to forced labor in the Samarkand region.
