Valijon Yusupovich Adizov, Governor of Karmana district, has been disciplined for mistakes and shortcomings in his work, as well as for failing to adequately fulfill his assigned duties. The decision was made by Normat Tursunov, Governor of the Navoi region.
Adizov was subjected to disciplinary action under Clause 1, Part 1 of Article 312 (Disciplinary Sanctions) of the Labor Code, based on his explanatory letter submitted to the regional governor.
For context, Valijon Adizov was appointed Mayor of Karmana district in January this year. Prior to this role, he served as Deputy Head of the Navoi Regional Department of the Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights.
It is worth noting that a similar incident occurred earlier in the Kashkadarya region, where Fayzulla Yusupov, Mayor of Chirakchi district, was punished after slapping a citizen.
