Kapadze steps down from Uzbekistan national team coaching staff

Assistant coach of the Uzbekistan national football team, Timur Kapadze, has requested to step down from his position, the Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA) announced.
According to the statement, Kapadze expressed his desire to enter a new stage in his coaching career and submitted a formal request to the UFA leadership asking to be relieved of his duties.
UFA acknowledged that the coach had received new career offers and intends to continue his managerial path as a head coach. The association stated that it respected and accepted his decision.
“The Uzbekistan Football Association expresses sincere gratitude to Timur Kapadze for his contribution to the development of Uzbek football and wishes him great success in his future coaching career,” the statement reads.
It is worth noting that Kapadze was previously mentioned among candidates to take charge of the Indonesia national football team.
