The officer responsible for the Administration of the Use of Canals and Adjacent Areas of Tashkent, who was found disposing of garbage into the Bozsuv Canal, has been fined. This information was provided by the Republican Center for the Organization of Sanitary Cleaning Works.

It has been noted that the incident was investigated by inspectors from the Uchtepa district, under the Tashkent City Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change, as well as the regional branch of Tashkent City and the Department of Water, Land Resources, and Subsoil Protection.

The investigation revealed that waste had accumulated along the canal banks and the area was in a neglected condition. Further examination by employees of the Department of Canal Use and Improvement of Adjacent Areas of Tashkent City disclosed that construction debris was present among the soil used to reinforce the canal banks.

In response to this situation, an administrative report was filed against the responsible officer of the Tashkent City Canals Department, M.T., by Part 3 of Article 91¹ of the Code of Administrative Responsibility of the Republic of Uzbekistan (regarding the disposal of solid household waste, construction waste in unauthorized places, and liquid household waste). The officer was fined 6 million 800 thousand sums.

Additionally, the Bozsuv Canal banks have been cleared of waste, and tree seedlings have been planted during the autumn season.
