Checkpoints on the Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan border have temporarily ceased operation.  This is reported by “Tengrius” with reference to the press service under the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan.

“According to the information received from the Uzbek partners, from 1 July 2022, at the checkpoint of Daut-ata-Tajen (road) between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan due to system failures the movement of people, vehicles and cargo temporarily stopped “, - the report says.

In this connection, citizens crossing the state border at these checkpoints were asked to plan their routes in advance.
“We will inform the public once checkpoint operations resume.”, - the committee added.
