On January 30, during a meeting on the new system of profitable arable land production, chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Karakalpakstan farmer Genzhimurat Turdimuratov was awarded the prestigious Order of "Friendship". A corresponding decree from the President was also issued in this regard.

During the online meeting, the President conversed with master farmers and homestead owners from various regions. Genzhimurat Turdimuratov shared that he harvests four times a year from a greenhouse in his yard, which has allowed him to generate a high income. Recognizing his efforts, President Mirziyoyev deemed Turdimuratov deserving of the Order of "Friendship".

The decree emphasized Turdimuratov's significant contributions to the development of homestead farming in the country, particularly in the areas of fruit and vegetable cultivation and seedling production. It acknowledged his role in ensuring the well-being of the population by producing abundant and high-quality crops, his effective use of land, and his initiative, efficiency, experience, and hard work. The decree also commended Turdimuratov for his active participation in public affairs.

Genjimurat Dauletmuratovich Turdimuratov, the owner of a personal plot of land in the Karauzak district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, was honored for these achievements.

It is also worth noting that last year, seamstress Dilorom Yuldasheva, who was included in the “Top-100 Most Inspiring Women in the World” video selection on December 13, was awarded the Order of Courage by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The order was presented to Yuldasheva by Ulugbek Kasimov, the governor of Surkhandarya region, on behalf of the President.
