Uzbek coach Akmal Hasanov, who assisted the Kyrgyz boxer Munarbek Seyitbek ugli at the Olympic Games in Paris, was awarded the "Chingiz Aytmatov" medal. This was reported by the "24. kg" publication.

Assol Moldokmatova, general secretary of the international public association "Chingiz Aitmatov Issyk-Kol Forum," informed that the decision to reward the Uzbek coach for his humanity, tolerance, and high level of public diplomacy was made on August 5.

"Thanks to Akmal for his humanity and brotherly attitude. We appreciate, respect, and admire it. We look forward to your visit to Kyrgyzstan. You deserve all the praise and awards," she said.

For information, on the night of August 4, Kyrgyz boxer Munarbek Seyitbek Ugli fought a quarter-final match against American Harvey Jahmal and reached the semi-finals at the Summer Olympic Games in Paris. During the fight, he was seconded by coach Akmal Hasanov, who came from the delegation of Uzbekistan.

Munarbek's trainer, Beganas Sultanbaev, watched the fight on the screen. Coach Sultanbaev could not go to Paris due to accreditation problems.
