Uzbek woman drowns in river in Kyrgyzstan

A citizen of Uzbekistan died after a car fell into the Chychkan River in Kyrgyzstan’s Toktogul district. Sputnik Kyrgyzstan reported this, citing the country’s Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to reports, the incident occurred on June 22 this year. There were four people in the car — three men and one woman.
“The men managed to get out of the water on their own, while the 45-year-old woman was swept away by the current. Four days later, rescuers found her body and handed it over to the police,” the report said.
Earlier, it was reported that a three-year-old child died in Payariq district of Samarkand region after falling into a pond on the territory of a kindergarten.
