On August 25, at 22:59 Tashkent time, a magnitude 4.6 earthquake struck Kyrgyzstan, according to the Republican Center for Seismological Monitoring.

The epicenter was located 343 kilometers southeast of Tashkent, in the Osh region of Kyrgyzstan, at a depth of 15 kilometers.
