The earthquake that occurred in Kyrgyzstan was felt in Uzbekistan

Today, on 15 April, the force of the earthquake that occurred in Kyrgyzstan was also felt in Uzbekistan.  This was reported by the Republic Center for Seismoprognostic Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The earthquake occurred at 14:49 p.m. Tashkent time (at 09:49 GMT) in Kirgi.

The coordinates of the earthquake were 40.87 degrees north latitude and 73 degrees east longitude.

The magnitude of the earthquake was 4 points.  Depth – 15 km.  The epicenter of the earthquake is located 320 km southeast of Tashkent.

Emotional strength of the Republic of Uzbekistan:

In Khanabad district of Andijan region – 3 points, 8 km.

In Korgontepa district of Andijan region – 2-3 points, 16 km.
