Wanted fugitive “Bonu” was apprehended in Istanbul

Barno Farmonovna Inoyatova, known as "Bonu," who has been sought since 2024 on charges of fraud, was apprehended in Istanbul, Turkey. The General Consulate of Uzbekistan in Istanbul reported this development.
It was noted that the 37-year-old Barno Inoyatova was arrested this year during a joint operation conducted by the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Turkey and Uzbekistan. She was deported to the Republic of Uzbekistan on August 12.
"Citizens who have been affected by the actions of this individual are requested to contact the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Istanbul or the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, including its subordinate agencies," the statement read.
It is worth noting that on August 3, Jahangir Hasanboev, who was accused of major automobile fraud, was also arrested in Turkey and subsequently deported to Uzbekistan.
