Heavy snow fell in 2 districts of Kashkadarya

Today, 5 April, it snowed in the mountainous regions of Kashkadarya region.  Erkin Abdulakhatov, a leading expert of Uzgidromet, climate scientist, provided information about this.

It is reported that the snow fell in Kol village of Shahrisabz district of the region.

It also snowed yesterday, 4 April, in the village of Sarchashma in the mountainous region of the district.

In addition, it snowed heavily last night in “Gulistan” neighborhood of Dehqonabad district of the region, leaving the ground well covered.

Earlier, on 3 April, in the territory of the “Duoba” village assembly in the Zomin district of the Jizzakh region, at an altitude of 2 kilometers above sea level, the air temperature approached zero, and the rain turned to snow.

It should be recalled that from 5-7 April, it was reported that heavy rains are expected to fall in most regions of Uzbekistan, and floods will occur in mountains and mountainous areas.  The air temperature during the day will be warm, from 15-18 degrees to 20-23 degrees during the week.  The wind will blow at a speed of 15-20 m/s, dust and hail may be observed in some places.
