A fire erupted at a gas station in the Kokdala district of Kashkadarya region, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
According to the ministry, the incident was reported today, July 16, at 2:40 pm, at a gas station in the Oltindala municipal area of the district.
Fire and rescue crews arrived at the scene by 2:45 pm, and the blaze was contained by 3:00 pm. Efforts are still underway to fully extinguish the fire.
The regional Fire and Rescue Department has confirmed that the situation is under control.
So far, no information has been released regarding possible casualties or injuries. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. A video circulating on social media shows thick black smoke billowing into the sky from the site.
It should be recalled that earlier, a fire broke out in one of the production workshops in Tashkent’s Yunusabad district.
