Illegal electricity usage uncovered at Kashkadarya facility

Authorities have uncovered a case of illegal electricity usage worth 1.2 billion UZS at a water collection facility in Koson district, Kashkadarya region. The report was shared by the press service of “Uzenergoinspeksiya.”
During a recent inspection, it was revealed that the Koson district's “Water Supply” department facility in the Dostlik neighborhood had been using electricity unlawfully. Preliminary calculations estimate that this violation caused damage amounting to 1.28 billion UZS to the electricity supply company.
The investigation is currently in the pre-trial phase and is being carried out by law enforcement agencies.
Earlier, a case of unauthorized electricity use was identified in Syrdarya region, involving a limited liability company. This violation resulted in a loss of 1.46 billion UZS for the electricity provider.
