Four people die in tragic accident in Kashkadarya

A serious accident occurred in the Kokdala district of the Kashkadarya region, resulting in the deaths of four individuals. The incident involved a Lacetti vehicle that lost control and collided with a Nexia, as reported by the Regional Traffic Safety Department.

The accident took place on the 10th kilometer of the "Kokdala - Kattakishloq" highway. The driver of the Lacetti veered into the opposite lane and failed to yield to the oncoming Nexia, leading to the collision.

In total, eight people sustained injuries in the crash. Among the deceased were three out of five classmates born in 1998 who were traveling in the Lacetti.

One passenger in the Nexia also died. The driver and a rear-seat passenger from the Nexia are currently receiving treatment in the hospital, with two additional injured individuals in intensive care.
