A drunk citizen shot an acquaintance in Kashkadarya

A drunken individual in Kashkadarya shot an acquaintance. Hayat Shamsutdinov, the spokesperson for the General Prosecutor's Office, reported this incident to QALAMPIR.UZ.

On March 29th, while driving in Shahrisabz, Kashkadarya, Sh.U. encountered Sh.R., a known acquaintance, and they drank together at a cafe. Later, the two met another acquaintance, A.T., and all three decided to continue drinking at around 19:30.

During the gathering, a dispute arose between Sh.U. and A.T. over 50,000 soums. In response, Sh.U. retrieved a makeshift gun from his parked car and shot A.T. in the head before fleeing the scene. A.T. was rushed to the emergency department of the local medical association.

Sh.U. attempted to flee but was apprehended by district operatives around 500 meters from the scene.

According to the medical report from the Shahrisabz city medical association, A.T. sustained severe injuries, including a penetrating brain injury, metal and bone fragments in the brain, a fractured left frontal bone, and bruising on the left eyebrow. His condition was critical.

Following this incident, the Shahrisabz district prosecutor's office initiated a criminal case against Sh.U., and an investigation is 
ongoing.
