A school student was fatally assaulted in Kashkadarya

On social media, reports circulated about a 15-year-old student's assault by peers at a school in the Karshi district of Kashkadarya, along with a video message from the mother expressing her son's lack of recovery. Subsequently, on April 5, the Regional Department of Pre-school and School Education issued an official response.

Prior to this social media outcry, the activity of the 55th school in Karshi district was scrutinized according to procedures set by the Department of Pre-school and School Education of Kashkadarya region. Law enforcement officials also investigated the student altercation, putting an end to it legally.

As per an official decree from the Head of the Department of Pre-School and School Education of Kashkadarya Region on March 19, 2024, the Director of General Secondary School No. 55 in Karshi District and M.P. Article 157 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the employment contract based on the aforementioned section was annulled.

Ongoing investigations are being conducted by authorized bodies.

It's worth noting that previously, the principal of School 80 in the Yakkabog district of Kashkadarya region physically assaulted students by slamming their heads together.
