Bank officials stole nearly 4 billion soms in Qamashi district of Kashkadarya region. This was reported by the press service of the Kashkadarya regional prosecutor’s office.
It is noted that the officials of the Qamashi branch of the joint-stock commercial bank “Agrobank” conspired and looted the funds entrusted to them with about 4 billion soms by misappropriation and distribution.
In connection with this situation, a criminal case has been initiated against officials under Articles 167 and 209 of the Criminal Code, and the preliminary investigation is being conducted by the regional prosecutor’s office.
“During the investigation, 3 officials were taken into custody.” The progress of the investigation was monitored separately. Detailed information will be provided at the end of the investigation,” the report said.
