A doctor who worked in the Chirakchi district of Kashkadarya region for 18 years without taking a vacation was paid 100 million soums in compensation. This was reported by the Regional Department of Justice.

It is noted that he worked as a doctor in rural medical centers and a family polyclinic for 18 years. However, due to the shortage of doctors in the area, he was unable to take a leave of absence.

The doctor, who is still working even though he is of retirement age, initially applied to the Medical Association, asking for compensation for not being able to take a vacation for all those years. However, the association did not grant his request.

Afterwards, he sought help and turned to the Department of Justice of Chirakchi district. With the assistance of the Department of Justice, he was able to collect a compensation of 100 million soums.
