In Kashkadarya, an Employee of the Municipality was Caught with a Bribe

In the Koson district of the Kashkadarya region, a scandal unfolded when the secretary of the governor's office was caught red-handed accepting a bribe of 3 million soms.  The Department of Combating Economic Crimes promptly reported the incident and initiated a criminal case against the accused individual.

According to the press service of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes, the Kashkadarya Regional Office conducted a swift operation, resulting in the apprehension of G’. G', the secretary of the head of the Koson district administration.  The suspect was caught with incriminating evidence while in the act of receiving 3 million soms in exchange for facilitating the processing of cadastral documents for a 12-acre property belonging to N.Sh., with the assistance of this acquaintances.

As a result of this alarming situation, a criminal case has been launched under Article 168 (fraud) and Article 28, 211 (bribery) of the Criminal Code.  Ongoing investigations are being conducted to uncover further details surrounding the case.
