Rescue teams recover car from Kamchik Pass ditch after road mishap

On April 21, 2025, a Cobalt vehicle veered off the road and fell into a roadside ditch at Kamchik Pass after the driver lost control. The incident was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

According to official information, the accident occurred at 09:45 on the A-373 “Tashkent-Osh” highway at the section passing through Kamchik Pass. The Cobalt, traveling from Tashkent to the Fergana Valley, veered off the road and landed in a ditch. The driver immediately contacted the Kamchik Special Search and Fire Rescue Department for assistance.

In response to the call, rescue teams arrived at the scene and used specialized equipment to retrieve the vehicle from the ditch.

Authorities confirmed that no injuries or fatalities resulted from the incident.

Earlier, another accident occurred at Kamchik Pass when a Honda driver lost control and collided with a roadside barrier before also plunging into a ditch.
