Leadership change: Izboskan district welcomes new mayor

Abrorbek Kosimjonovich Ahmadaliev has been appointed as the mayor of Izboskan district in Andijan region, according to a statement from the regional administration's press service.

Abror Ahmadaliev was born in 1988 in the Izboskan district. He graduated from Andijan Machine-Building Institute in 2012.

He has held various positions throughout his career, including first-class specialist at the Andijan regional economy department, chief specialist in the regional administration’s information-analytical service, and head of the finance, economy, and poverty reduction secretariat. He later served as deputy head of the Andijan regional Department of Poverty Reduction and Employment, overseeing community-based work and entrepreneurship development.

Before assuming this new role, Ahmadaliev was serving as the head of the Andijan regional Department of Poverty Reduction and Employment.

Previously, Elyorbek Rahmatillaevich Karimov, who was the mayor of Izboskan district, was appointed as the governor of Andijan city.
